April 10, 2010 Kokua Festival Recycling Drive Winners
Congratulations to Coralee, Rich, Ryan, Alexandra, Joan, and Jennifer, the six winners of the Kokua Festival Recycling Drive. They each won a pair of tickets to the Kokua Festival, and most importantly, they made great donations of HI-5 containers to the Kokua Hawaii Foundation. Mahalo for the support and Kokua. 2010 Cans for Cash Winners
Congratulation to all the schools that participated in the 2010 Cans for Cash Challenge. It was successful for all participants in that there was a lot of student and family participation, and all that entered received money for their schools. The 2010 overall winners are:
1) Pearl Ridge Elementary: $ 2127.65 (Oahu)
2) Kalaheo Elementary: $ 1559.21 (Kauai)
Pearl Ridge Elementary will receive an award check of $1,000 from Reynolds Recycling, as the first place school, and Kalaheo Elementary will receive a check for $500 as runner up.
