Aloha, please note that there have been Several changes to our location schedule. Please check on the location page to see if the redemption center you use is effected.  Thank you for your understanding as we work to maintain as much convenience as possible in Hawaii.

All of our locations redeem your HI-5 containers, and all (except the Capitol) also buy scrap aluminum, brass, copper and stainless steel. For copper you do need a notarized "Scrap Copper Ownership" form, which you can get at the redemption center location, or download from our website (see link above).

We have had some questions regarding the handling fee change taking place on September 1.  The deposit of 5 cents doesn’t change, but the handling fee paid at the point of sale will drop from 1.5 cents to 1 cent, the same as what it was from 2005 to 2012.  Otherwise, nothing will change at this time.

due to Rail and condo construction in Kakaako, we have lost our lease for our location on the corner of Halekauwila and Keawe streets.  Our closest location is the Aala Street (254 N. Beretania St.) locations.  The Aala Street location is open Sunday to Wednesday from 8 to 5, closed for lunch from 12 to 1:30.

Reynolds Recycling is a locally owned company that has been serving Hawaii’s people for over 34 years. In that time, we have paid out over $215 million to Hawaii residents for their recyclables, of which over $3 million has gone directly to our schools to fund important programs and projects.

With 15 convenient locations on Oahu, Maui, and Kauai, Reynolds is Hawaii’s largest beverage container recycler.

Our goal is to make recycling a way of life for Hawaii’s people. As a service to our customers, we have a full range of recycling options available. In addition to our Redemption Centers located statewide, we also have reverse vending machines in select locations and a number of facilities are prepared to accept commercial recyclables and scrap metal. For a complete listing of our locations and hours of operations, click here.

Each year since 2005, Reynolds Recycling has recycled enough used beverage containers, and scrap metal to extend the life of our municipal landfill by one month.

As a leader in recycling, Reynolds is committed to protecting Hawaii’s future by recycling today for generations to come.
